Los Santos: a sprawling sun-soaked metropolis full of self-help gurus, starlets and fading celebrities, once the envy of the Western world, now struggling to stay afloat in an era of economic uncertainty and cheap reality TV. Amidst the turmoil, three very different criminals plot their own chances of survival and success: Franklin, a former street gangster, now looking for real opportunities and serious money; Michael, a professional ex-con whose retirement is a lot less rosy than he hoped it would be; and Trevor, a violent maniac driven by the chance of a cheap high and the next big score. Running out of options, the crew risks everything in a series of daring and dangerous heists that could set them up for life.
I must say I don't see why Rockstar Games brags on a research team. If they are only researching the city, they are blowing money.<br/><br/>The graphics are indeed the best of all the GTA games; so lifelike! I love them.<br/><br/>My biggest complaint is that they don't seem to understand the difference between a psychopath and a sociopath. Michael was indeed a psychopath. He was not at all a sociopath. According to FBI psychiatrist and profiler Candace DeLong, a sociopath exists in an emotional vacuum. They feel nothing: love, compassion, remorse. Michael loved his family and even risks his own life to save them. If he were a sociopath, he would never have cared if they ran off. He would have more concerned about his missing car than the son. Then, he would not have been so eager to get the family back home. When Merryweather was sent to kill the ladies, Michael's first prerogative would have been self-preservation and he would have fled.<br/><br/>I also hated that cars had no airbags and I kill the other drivers much too easily! All cars now come standard with airbags! I should not be killing these people so easily. (And why are the cops and gangbangers invincible in their cars?) Secondly, the windshield bust out much too easily. Windshields are thick laminated glass; a rubbery laminate holds it all together. The characters should not at all fly through the windshields so easily.<br/><br/>Finally, I wish they would research police procedure. At least stop the cops slamming into the rear-end of motorcycles and throwing the suspect like that. Police never do that. They would face serious disciplinary action for that! They also do not shoot from a helicopter and ride on the sides of SUVs and shoot like this is the Wild West. Security cameras do NOT broadcast live to the police department! Can you imagine how many cops they would have to hire for ALL THOSE security cameras all over the city? Can you imagine how much taxes would seriously increase and then all those hundreds of thousands of nothing but normal business? Plus, if you shoot out the cameras, would it not appear to be suspicious? If one camera goes out, that's understandable. But if they all go out? Hello? Also, why didn't the larger bank have this? Bigger bank, more money; no live-security cameras?<br/><br/>Bank robbers do NOT use suppressors (silencers) when they rob banks! The idea is to strike fear into the hostages, not to pacify them by silencing the guns. They need the gun to be LOUDER to make the hostages more frightened to reduce the chances of a Good Sameritan. Second, I should NOT have to go to the gun store to take off the suppressors. Do the people at Rockstar not know how EASY it is to remove these? And I should be able to get rid of guns that I no longer need. I don't need 5-million guns in my inventory.<br/><br/>The online mode: I only want a few changes. One; STOP making the women dance ballet when trying on shoes!!! That is extremely sexist! I am not a ballerina!!! Two: I want to choose colors for other vehicles: bicycles, planes, boats, and helicopters; not only cars! (Yes, a bicycle is a vehicle; it is not a motorized vehicle, but it is indeed a vehicle).<br/><br/>Finally, I want an online heist with Michael! Why was Trevor so special that he got everything? In the story,Franklin gets that stupid motorcycle (why not his unique vehicle?) that I kept getting stuck with. I hated chasing anyone on that thing! Trevor gets extra helicopters and an ATV; but Michael gets nothing extra! Michael is the best one, my favorite ever GTA character!
I bought this game when it first came out and was absolutely blown away. Firstly,the story mode was the best part. I finished this game within the first few days that I had it. It was so addictive and pulled me into the story. The best and hardest part was the ending. The multiple choice ending was definitely a great way to end the game. And being able to play3 characters was awesome too. Then the multiplayer came out and I was thrilled. The fact that I could play a game where you can steal cars,drive on the sidewalk,Weave planes in and out of buildings,find secrets around the map and fight gangsters all with my freinds,was truly amazing. With constant dlc and updates,this game continues to amaze me and everyone else. Let's hope Red dead redemption 2 can do the same.

The game takes place in the fictional city Los Santos, and the surrounding hills, countryside and beaches. This will be a re-imagining of the starting city in <a href="/title/tt0383385/">Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004)</a> which was based on Los Angeles. Yes, the PS4 and Xbox One versions were released on November 18th, 2014. The PC version was released on April 14th, 2015. No. Rockstar has stated that <a href="/title/tt0802999/">Grand Theft Auto IV (2008)</a> and GTA V are set in an entirely new universe from GTAs <a href="/title/tt0277723/">Grand Theft Auto III (2001)</a>, <a href="/title/tt0314123/">Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002)</a> and <a href="/title/tt0383385/">Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004)</a>. So characters suchCJ, Sweet, Madd Dogg, Kendl, Caesar, etc. simply don't exist in this universe. Grove Street exists in the game, however it looks quite different from its San Andreas counterpart and is Balla turf. Vigilante missions have been replaced by bail bond missions that only Trevor can participate in. The player is given a target and must find them, capture them, and return them dead or alive (although there is a higher reward for capturing them alive). There are four of these missions; the player can no longer access targets through police computers like the previous game. Michael De Santa is one of the main protagonists and playable characters of Grand Theft Auto V. Aged in his early 40s and the husband of Amanda and father of Jimmy and Tracey, Michael met Trevor Phillips at a young age, and the two became best friends, performing several major bank heists together. Michael retired from his life of crime after making a "sweetheart" deal with the FIB (fictional version of the FBI). In the process of the deal, he and his family became rich, living in a large mansion. However, Michael's relationship with his family and friends is deteriorating; his wife barely tolerates him and spends all of his money, his children have very little time left to spend with him, and even Trevor has a severe falling out with him throughout much of the game because of Michael's deal with the FIB. Running out of money quickly and tired of being bored and miserable, Michael decides to return to the criminal life.<br/><br/>Michael's special ability is to slow down time while in a gunfight, similar to Dead Eye in <a href="/title/tt1479962/">Red Dead Redemption (2010)</a> or Bullet time in the Max Payne series.<br/><br/>Franklin Clinton is one of the main protagonists and playable characters of Grand Theft Auto V. During his childhood, Franklin never had a family, money or education to rely on. At some point during his young life, he began the life of a gang banger and dope dealer, but was arrested soon afterward. After being released from prison, Franklin started working for Simeon Yetarian, who owns a luxury car dealershipa repo man. As a result, he is frequently seen driving around Los Santos in many stolen sports cars. During the events of GTA V, in his mid 20s, Franklin meets Michael whilst trying to get a hustle. Both men soon do a job together, and Michael sees potential in Franklin, calling him "the son he's always wanted," and later introduces him to Trevor, which is where the main events of GTA V begin.<br/><br/>The special ability that Franklin can use is the ability to slow down time while driving.<br/><br/>Trevor Philips is one of the main protagonists and playable characters of Grand Theft Auto Vwella filthy individual, due to his lifestyle and appearance. By the events of GTA V, Trevor is in his mid 40s living in a filthy trailer in a desert, with his best friend Ron living next to him.<br/><br/>Trevor's special ability is to deal out extra damage, or take less damage, and he can also perform a unique melee attack when the special meter is activated.<br/><br/>During story missions, the player can switch between the protagoniststhey work together to accomplish an objective. Outside of missions, the player is free to swap between the protagonists and explore the game's open world, the fictional city of Los Santos, based on Los Angeles, and its surrounding countryside. Camera zooms out to a "Google Earth-style" perspective when switching characters and then drops into wherever the chosen character is. Even when the player is not controlling them, each character will still go about their own business across Los Santos. In an interview with <a href="/name/nm0396744/">Dan Houser</a>, IGN was able to confirm that co-op would not be in Grand Theft Auto V's story: It would be impossible to do that and keep the level of precision we've got in this. You could make a great co-op game, but we felt that we're doing other bits of our multiplayer that will fulfill those desires in ways we think are very fun.
